About Our Author: Jay North

Jay North: Author, organic gardener, social activist, naturalist and just plain fun at a party. He is known worldwide as the Edible Flower Child as a result of his success with Paradise Farms. Jay is now a full time writer.

Jay came into the world knowing that he wanted to experience life to the fullest and eventually help other people to do the same in love, peace and joy. Jay’s life experiences are vast, some fun, some exciting and some a downright rollercoaster ride.

Jay arrived on planet Earth in 1949, he found love for nature and the land at age 8, and he started writing poems about his beloved Mother Earth at age 16.

While Jay is the first to admit he may never grow up, in his “adult” years he has written and had published several thousand articles, eighteen books and two thousand poems. His interest in writing and publishing continues as his purpose is to write, and be read and to make a beneficial impact on the planet and all those who live on it.
